How Do you Test for Ozone Resistance?
1. Add purified water at the water filling point of the ozone test chamber.
2. The water level should be increased to about 60-70. Turn on the power air switch at the back of the machine.
3. Press [Power] button at the panel to turn on the power. [Lighting] is the button to turn on the light in the test chamber.
4. Click [Fix Test] to enter fix test page.
5. Set the test temperature and humidity according to the standard.
6. Click [Start] to run the test. After the displayed temperature and humidity reach the set value and become stable.
7. Start to set the concentration value of the ozone meter.
8.Click [《PF] and up & down arrow to set the ozone concentration value. Warm tips: Please set the ozone concentration according to standard. Place the sample on the sample holder in the test chamber.
9. Click [Ozone] to turn on the ozone, ozone value starts to increase.
When the test time specified in the standard is reached, it means the test is completed.
Press the [Ozone] ozone switch to turn off ozone and press [CLEAR] the ozone clearing switch.
10. When the ozone in the test chamber is cleared, the light of the [CLEAR] button will go out.
11. When the [CLEAR] button is dark, it shows that the current ozone value in the test chamber is low, and the sample can be taken out.

How to Improve Color Fastness to Ozone?
The ozone colourfastness testing system places the sample in an ozone environment of a certain concentration until a certain colour change occurs or a specified time has elapsed, after which it is compared with a standard colour chart.

Although ozone is present in very low concentrations in the atmosphere, it can significantly affect the colour of textile dyes. The Ozone Resistance Test Chamber simulates and intensifies atmospheric ozone conditions to study the mechanisms by which ozone affects fabric colourfastness. It provides a rapid method for evaluating fabric resistance to ozone-induced colour fading and assessing the efficacy of ozone-resistant agents, enabling the implementation of appropriate measures to prevent colour fading and thereby extend the service life of textiles.
